Go GOTH!!
review By Silenius 11 Nov
Coined the description "Male Exotic Revue" on their website, Gotham Penthouse people definitely knew what they were talking about.. Just go visit their website, http://www.gothampenthouse.com.sg (watch the video), to figure out why. In fact, there's a reason why there were at least SIX hen parties at Gotham last night alone, and I suspect the numbers average that high most weekend nights.
The dancers were HOT HOT HOT, like SUPER HOT and scream-worthy, drool-worthy HOT. OMG I swear at least 90% of the gals at gotham would quite happily marry any of the dancers or keep them as toyboys. The video and pictures on the website don't even do them justice, you gotta see them for yourself. For a little bit of money, you can also get extra..
Anyways, HOT dancers aside (but why would anyone wanna put them aside?), the music was also amazing for dancing, good remixes of hot dance tunes splattered with enough RnB to get grooving and not too crowded. At $20 per entry for cover it's also not expensive to get a good dance show, good music, and good service. The drink coupon with entry is even exchangeable for a litre of mixer! I'd say last night was the most hassle-free clubbing night I've ever enjoyed with zero lines for anything, and waiters/ bartenders everywhere. They're also totally not sticky about clubbers dancing on their stage between sets, bar-top dancing, and song dedications.
I swear to god, I LOVE GOTHAM and I'm totally a fan! Sorry Butter Factory, you're great but you don't have hot dancers.. Gotham's my new fave and honestly, you just HAVE to check it out.
ps: this review quite strictly applies to females unless guys out there these days are able to take competition and watch gals ogling other guys. =)
About Silenius
Wikipedia says, "the Silenoi were followers of Dionysus. They were drunks, and were usually bald and fat with thick lips and squat noses, and had the legs of a human. Later, the plural "silenoi" went out of use and the only references were to one individual named Silenus, the teacher and faithful companion of the wine-god Dionysus. A notorious consumer of wine, he was usually drunk and had to be supported by satyrs or carried by a donkey. Silenus was described as the oldest, wisest and most drunken of the followers of Dionysus, and was said in Orphic hymns to be the young god's tutor.
