From 18 to 28 March 2010, you can savour a scrumptious theatre buffet at Singapore's first-ever, one-of-a-kind Makan Drama Festival!
Inspired by Singaporeans' two greatest loves: food and eating, Makan Drama Festival by ACTION Theatre presents nutritious new local plays, standup comedy, musical theatre, performance poetry, fun public talks and dramatized readings of fresh-of-the-oven Singapore plays!
Enjoy theatrical delights under the moonlight and
in Singapore's coziest theatre!
All the Festival events will be held at ACTION Theatre's 42 Waterloo Street, a lovingly restored pre-war bungalow house nestled amidst tropical gardents in the heart of Singapore's civic district.
Come and be among the firsts to enjoy appetizing new theatrical dishes presented on The Stage Under The Tree under the moonlight, and in The Room Upstairs, Singapore's coziest and most intimate theatre.
Outdoor performances are all FREE! Seats available on first-come, first-served.
The Theatrical Main Course, a double bill of two new plays entitled Cravings by Chong Tze Chien and Perfecting Prata by Desmond Sim will be presented in The Room Upstairs. Tickets to this double bill start from S$35 each only. There are also discounts for students, NSF, seniors and school group bookings.
