Tatsuya Japanese Restaurant helmed by Ronnie has always been highly recommended by friends, media and colleagues.

Having heard so much about Tatsuya, I decided to make a trip to try this much discussed Japanese restaurant.

I started with the Sashimi Selection. The Tuna Belly, Yellow Tail, Swordfish, Salmon and Cuttlefish, were of the best cut and honestly, it was most fresh.

The hand roll which I ordered was wrapped in a sheet of seaweed of an extreme high quality. It was fresh and crunchy and different from what we get from the usual Japanese restaurants.

Unfortunately, the restaurant ran out of totoro tataki and we had to settle for beef tataki. It was most delicious and was seasoned wonderfully.

The Chicken Karage is also a must try dish and my suggestion is to ask for the Japanese mayonaise and seasoned with chili powder. It is a good combination.

We also had the Grilled Saba. The fish was fresh and well grilled.

Overall, the restaurant lived up to its high expectations and  I would definitely suggest it to all Japanese cusine lovers. However, I would also suggest that would be diners be prepared for such exquisite and fresh delicay.
